Is working abroad the only option left for Filipino accountants who want a high paying and meaningful career?
Of course not. That’s why we are delighted to announce that more than 2,100 accountants and bookkeepers have completed the TOA Global Accelerator Program since we launched it in 2021.
About 64% of the group (1,378 individuals) completed the program for Australia, which prepared them to work with international accounting firms while based in the Philippines.
Accelerator Program (Australia) participants have three tracks to choose from: Generalist Accountant, SMSF Accountant or Bookkeeper.
The Accelerator Program for North America, which TOA Global launched after the one for Australia, has seen close to 800 graduates so far.
Growth with international accounting firms
Among them is U.S. Tax Accountant Albert Almine, who confirmed that the program sharpened his learning strategies, allowing him to stay updated about changes in the accounting industry. Albert enjoyed having “an excellent and well-structured learning experience”, something he valued as a former college instructor himself.
Participants receive a competitive monthly income while in training and are introduced to prospective clients as they wrap up the Accelerator Program.
Once placed with a client, they receive a learning and development plan that’s tailored to their specific role and level.
This includes complimentary access to technical, software, and success skills courses, as well as continuing professional development through monthly webinars on industry issues.
To qualify for the Accelerator Program, all you need is:
An accounting or related degree
At least 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, so be sure to include this in your updated resume
Knowledge of Excel
A strong understanding of accounting practices: You can work with spreadsheets, manage bills and invoices, create journal entries, handle bank reconciliations, and generate financial statements.
Ready to realize your dream of growing with international accounting firms? We highly recommend starting with the TOA Global Accelerator Program.
If you’ve worked in accounting, audit, or bookkeeping with clients in Australia or the United States, you won’t need to undergo the Accelerator Program.
