    Minimum qualifications

    What we look for.

    To join TOA Global as an Australian Accountant, we look for the following qualifications and experience. Once you are in, ongoing development through Ab² Institute of Accounting is part of the role.

    Minimum qualifications

    Minimum 2 years working with an Australian accounting team
    All applicants must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience working directly with an Australian accounting team. This ensures you are familiar with AU tax frameworks, compliance standards, and the way Australian firms operate before you join a client.
    Degree
    Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant discipline
    Software

    Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or FreshBooks experience

    Certifications

    CPA or CMAR (preferred or in progress)

    Excel mastery

    Advanced skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables

    Experience

    Hands-on work experience as an accountant

    General ledger

    Experience with general ledger functions

    Regulations

    Solid knowledge of IFRS and accounting procedures

    Precision

    Strong attention to detail backed by analytical thinking
