Unlock Your Potential!
At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting industry.
As a US Intermediate Bookkeeper, you are a core technical specialist within our North American division. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who has moved beyond basic data entry and is ready to manage complex compliance, payroll, and financial reporting. Working strictly onsite at our modern facilities, you will act as a bridge between foundational bookkeeping and strategic tax preparation, ensuring our US-based SMEs operate with absolute financial clarity and regulatory confidence.
Your Impact
Master of the Digital Ledger: Categorize daily accounting transactions with precision using Hubdoc and QuickBooks Online (QBO). Maintain pristine documentation and ensure the accuracy of client financial records, managing AP and AR workflows to keep the wheels of commerce turning smoothly.
Payroll & Compliance Leadership: Handle end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring strict adherence to US Federal and State payroll compliance. Own the execution of critical year-end requirements, including the accurate preparation of 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC forms for contractors and vendors.
Strategic Financial Reporting: Move beyond basic data entry to provide high-value cash flow reporting and forecasting for SMEs. Prepare monthly management accounts and detailed financial reports that serve as the foundation for 1120S (S-Corp) and 1065 (Partnership) tax returns.
Proactive Problem Solving: Take the lead in reading IRS and State agency notices, formulating clear internal action plans to resolve discrepancies. Support junior bookkeeping staff through training, guidance, and quality oversight to foster a culture of accuracy.
What You Bring
The Experience: 2–3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably gained within a US accounting firm, BPO shared services environment, or US SME ecosystem. You bring a solid understanding of US tax laws and preparation frameworks.
Technical Mastery: High operational proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets). You are comfortable navigating cloud-based accounting platforms and extracting meaningful financial insights.
The Mindset: A proactive communicator with exceptional English skills and a natural attention to detail. You possess the confidence to ask clarifying questions to ensure "no-guess" accuracy, combined with the organizational strength to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously.
