Your Impact

  • Working Paper & Engagement Preparation: Prepare accurate, complete, and well-supported working papers, tax files, and financial statements in full alignment with firm standards and US engagement requirements.

  • Budget & Project Management: Track billable hours against engagement budgets, manage multiple concurrent client tasks, and proactively escalate capacity, delays, or potential budget overruns.

  • Technical Research & Automation: Conduct technical research on US accounting and tax standards, apply findings to client files, and utilize digital accounting tools to drive engagement efficiency.

  • Quality Assurance & Review Clearance: Apply critical thinking and professional skepticism, clear manager/reviewer notes promptly, and embed feedback into future engagements to maintain high work quality.

  • Team Development & Mentorship: Guide, answer technical questions for, and assist in coaching junior accountants while actively contributing to a collaborative, inclusive team culture.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Experience in public accounting, bookkeeping, US tax, assurance, business services, or outsourced accounting solutions.

  • Education & Designation: Bachelor's/Post-secondary degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. Active progress toward a CPA designation is strongly preferred.

  • Technical & Tool Competency: Strong understanding of US GAAP/accounting principles, research capabilities, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; hands-on experience with US accounting, tax, and workflow platforms is an asset.

  • Communication & Professionalism: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, a responsive client-service mindset, and strong organizational habits under strict deadlines.

  • Adaptability & Mindset: Receptive attitude toward feedback, continuous learning, and process improvement to support long-term professional growth.
