As a Senior SMSF Administrator, you play a vital role in the efficient delivery of Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) services. This position is designed for a highly organized professional capable of coordinating complex documentation, managing critical client communications, and performing technical reviews of fund transactions. You will act as the engine of the SMSF workflow, ensuring every job is structured, compliant, and processed with absolute precision.
Your Impact
Job Coordination & Query Management: Manage and respond to SMSF-related queries with clear, accurate, and timely communication. Monitor job progress, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate complex matters to management when necessary.
Strategic Job Setup: Compile and review the essential documentation required to commence SMSF engagements. Prepare detailed checklists and proactively liaise with clients to secure all requirements before a job begins.
Transaction Analysis & Support: Perform initial technical reviews of key SMSF transactions, including contributions, pension payments, lump sums, and rollovers. Identify inconsistent data and ensure completeness for the preparation process.
Digital Workflow Mastery: Manage and update SMSF workflows using Monday.com for accurate job tracking. Access fund data through Class Super and utilize Nitro PDF for high-level document preparation and editing.
Professional Client Liaison: Maintain professional email communication with clients to provide status updates and clarify information requirements, ensuring all interactions align with global service standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with managers and team members to resolve workflow issues and ensure all jobs are completed within agreed timelines.
What You Bring
The Experience: Proven experience in SMSF administration, accounting support, or a similar specialized role.
Technical Familiarity: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required, while operational familiarity with SMSF platforms like Class Super is a distinct advantage.
The Mindset: High level of attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability. You are an organized professional capable of managing multiple workflows in a structured manner.
Communication Excellence: Clear and professional written and verbal English communication skills, essential for both client management and team collaboration.
Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to work collaboratively, identify data inconsistencies, and escalate issues appropriately to ensure project momentum.
