Salary Range: Php 80,000 – Php 100,000

Unlock Your Potential!

TOA Global is a leading offshore staffing solutions provider dedicated to the accounting industry, partnering with top-tier firms across Australia, New Zealand, and North America. We don't just connect talent with opportunity—we build careers, champion growth, and create an environment where professionals like you can truly thrive.

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a shared services team supporting organizations across South Australia. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will serve as the lead finance professional on the floor—overseeing a dedicated group of bookkeepers, owning the month-end close cycle across a complex multi-entity structure, and ensuring compliance obligations are met to the highest standard. This is a role for someone who leads with strong ownership, communicates with corporate clarity, and takes pride in being the steady hand that keeps an international financial operation running smoothly.

Your Impact

  • Lead the Team & Oversee Operations: Provide day-to-day leadership and technical oversight to the offshore bookkeeping and payroll team. Review transactional work, manage workload allocation, deliver training, and act as the first point of escalation for complex accounting queries.

  • Close It Right & Master Multi-Entities: Manage the end-to-end month-end close processes across multiple client entities. Review general ledger transactions and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the bookkeeping team to ensure absolute accuracy before final sign-off.

  • Tell the Financial Story: Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports and financial commentary for the Adelaide-based Finance Manager and divisional leaders. Analyze business results and provide clear, written explanations of budget-vs-actual variances.

  • Keep It Compliant: Drive the preparation of BAS, IAS, and other statutory obligations. Ensure timely and accurate submission while maintaining total compliance with Australian accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal policies.

  • Watch the Cash & Support Audits: Build rolling cash flow forecasts and budget monitoring reports, proactively flagging material variances or financial risks. Liaise directly with auditors, preparing clean supporting workpapers and documentation schedules to streamline the audit process.

  • Sharpen the System: Systematically identify opportunities to streamline shared services workflows, minimize manual intervention, and improve data integrity. Bridge communication gaps across time zones by collaborating proactively on risk mitigation.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 4–8 years of solid, progressive accounting experience, with a proven track record of managing month-end close cycles and preparing executive-ready management reports.

  • Australian Compliance Know-How: Deep working knowledge of the Australian tax ecosystem, including GST, BAS, IAS, and payroll tax requirements.

  • The Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, paired with an active CPA or CA qualification that signals your advanced technical competence.

  • Technical Software Fluency: High proficiency with Xero and modern cloud-based accounting ecosystems, paired with advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including financial modelling and data analysis).

  • People-First Leadership: Demonstrated capability to mentor and develop team members, deliver constructive performance feedback, and maintain operational discipline under tight reporting timelines.

  • Communication Prowess: Exceptional verbal and written English skills, critical for translating complex financial variances into plain language and building immediate credibility with onshore leadership.

  • Industry Advantage (Preferred): Prior experience or exposure in sports, hospitality, recreation, or community club accounting frameworks is highly regarded (including volunteer work with club committees).
