We are seeking a highly skilled, commercially minded Senior Electrical Estimator to lead detailed cost estimations for Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) power distribution systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering, design, and production teams across a national project network—delivering competitive estimates, reviewing technical specifications, and supporting major electrical infrastructure developments.
Your Impact
Detailed Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for MV/LV switchboards, modular switch rooms, kiosks, and associated electrical infrastructure.
Technical Review & Verification: Analyze engineering drawings, single-line diagrams, bills of materials (BOM), and tender specifications to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
End-to-End Estimation Management: Oversee the full estimation lifecycle from initial client enquiry through tender submission, negotiation, and formal project handover.
Stakeholder & Supplier Liaison: Engage directly with internal engineering teams, clients, and OEMs/suppliers to clarify project scopes, negotiate pricing, and resolve technical queries.
Product Development & Support: Provide technical guidance to internal teams and support continuous product innovation initiatives across the organization.
What You Bring
Industry Experience: Extensive experience within the electrical, manufacturing, or switchboard industry, with a proven track record in estimating MV/LV switchboards, switch rooms, and kiosks.
Technical & Equipment Knowledge: Solid understanding of LV switchgear ranges (Schneider, Siemens, ABB, etc.) and working familiarity with MV distribution equipment.
Software & Blueprint Literacy: Ability to interpret CAD/E-Plan technical drawings; proficiency in Microsoft Office, estimation tools, and industry software (Powercad, AutoCAD).
Core Competencies: Strong commercial acumen, exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, proactive problem-solving ability, and excellent written and verbal English communication.
