Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will take complete technical ownership of complex international client engagements, deliver exceptional Australian public practice tax compliance services, and play a key part in driving premium financial outcomes across a diverse multi-entity portfolio. Operating autonomously in a remote setup, this position is custom-built for a disciplined professional who thrives under tight compliance timelines, takes pride in absolute balance sheet precision, and enjoys mentoring junior talent within a modern public practice ecosystem.

Your Impact

  • Statements That Shine: Prepare and technically review high-quality financial statements utilizing Xero, ensuring absolute data integrity, correct adjustments, and strict compliance across every client engagement.

  • Tax, Nailed Down: Formulate, cross-verify, and prepare specialized tax returns for small business clients, companies, partnerships, trusts, and individual structures in strict alignment with Australian taxation law and ATO guidelines.

  • Compliance Champion: Maintain a proactive, up-to-date command of changing Australian tax legislation, ensuring client workpapers are meticulously compiled, appropriately characterized, and completely audit-ready.

  • Client Cornerstone: Manage client accounts with elite professionalism and care, resolving technical queries efficiently and building strong, lasting cross-border relationships that inspire confidence.

  • Systems Savvy & Deadline Dynamo: Work seamlessly within established practice frameworks, digital workflows, and cloud processes to maintain consistency. Collaborate with internal project leadership to hit strict lodgment targets without dropping the ball.

  • Mentor in the Making: Provide clear technical guidance, workpaper review feedback, and structured support to junior team members, accelerating the team's overall processing capabilities and compliance standards.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Proven hands-on senior experience in Australian tax compliance, gained directly within an active Australian public practice accounting firm.

  • Xero & Ecosystem Mastery: Expert-level capability preparing Xero-based financial statements, backed by a strong working knowledge of Xero Practice Manager (XPM) pipelines and client tracking.

  • Multi-Entity Returns Pro: Demonstrated history managing end-to-end tax returns across varying corporate business entities, high-net-worth individuals, and multi-tier trust networks.

  • Tech-Tooled Up (Preferred): Practical familiarity with modern public practice software platforms like FYI Docs and Ignition is a strong advantage that will help you hit the ground running.

  • Process Perfectionist: A highly organized, process-driven professional who respects workpaper discipline, follows standardized checklists, and maintains an unyielding attention to numerical detail.

  • Communication Prowess: Superb written and verbal English communication skills, with the personal confidence to discuss technical accounting matters clearly with international colleagues and directors.

  • The Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance. Being CPA or CA qualified—or actively pursuing your certification—demonstrates your commitment to elite professional standards.
