Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PHT

Salary Range: Php 65,000 – Php 80,000

We're looking for a driven and technically sharp Senior Accountant to join our Clark team and support a high-performing Australian public practice client. In this role, you'll take ownership of complex compliance and advisory work—from income tax returns and financial statement preparation to tax planning and client correspondence—while mentoring junior team members and helping shape a culture of excellence. Your Impact

  • Tax Maestro & Numbers Architect: Prepare and lodge complex income tax returns for individuals, trusts, and companies, along with BAS, IAS, and FBT returns. Compile and analyze asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries to prepare high-integrity financial statements for investment trusts, trading trusts, and corporate entities.

  • GST & Division 7A Guru: Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts, resolving ledger discrepancies with precision. Prepare technical GST reconciliations, working papers, and complex Div 7A / UPE loan summaries, including exact interest and minimum benchmark repayment calculations.

  • ATO Whisperer & Advocate: Handle direct compliance correspondence with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), confidently managing phone inquiries, lodgment extensions, as well as GIC (General Interest Charge) and penalty remission submissions.

  • Strategy Shaper & Indirect Tax Advisor: Analyze multi-layered client portfolios to design proactive tax planning strategies that mitigate risk and maximize wealth. Provide clear, practical guidance on indirect tax applications, including GST, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Stamp Duty.

  • Team Elevator & Budget Guardian: Assist in planning production workflows, drafting time budgets, and monitoring job progress to ensure firm profitability. Provide technical review and support for work completed by junior team members, acting as a catalyst for their professional growth.

  • Reporting & Billing Excellence: Prepare and review detailed management reports that clearly highlight key performance issues for clients. Oversee the billing pipeline on selected client jobs to ensure seamless, accurate invoicing.

 

What You Bring

  • The Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of dedicated Australian public practice experience, giving you the technical depth, tax law fluency, and client-facing confidence to hit the ground running.

  • Credential Powerhouse: Bachelor of Commerce or Business majoring in Accounting or Finance, paired with an active CA ANZ Chartered Accountant or CPA certification.

  • Software Savvy: Hands-on experience with leading Australian public practice accounting platforms, including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. Desirable exposure to data analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau is a strong advantage.

  • Technical Compliance Edge: A keen and genuine interest in regulatory compliance. You possess deep familiarity with Australian tax structures and a solid understanding of how to manage complex balance sheet reconciliations under pressure.

  • Communication & Advisory Skills: Concisely draft client correspondence and technical explanations to a high professional standard. You are comfortable expressing professional opinions respectfully and navigating complex financial conversations with a solution-focused approach.

  • Mentor & Solutions Architect: An analytical thinker who actively fosters a positive team culture through mentorship, workflow scheduling, and a flexible growth mindset.
