Reconciliation Rigor: Perform thorough balance sheet and account reconciliations, ensuring all general ledger accounts are properly supported and substantiated.
Discrepancy Resolution: Review financial data, identify processing discrepancies, and implement timely and well-documented resolutions to variances.
Close Cycle Support: Contribute meaningfully to month-end and quarter-end close processes, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining the integrity of financial records.
ERP Fluency: Utilize Oracle-based or similar robust ERP financial systems to execute and record accounting transactions with high efficiency.
Cross-Border Coordination: Collaborate directly with the U.S. accounting team on accruals and reconciliations, demonstrating strong professional communication across global time zones.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain meticulous records and uphold compliance with applicable accounting standards (US GAAP/IFRS), internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
Audit Readiness: Provide timely and organized support for internal and external audit requirements, ensuring all documentation is clean and readily accessible.
What You Bring
The Experience: 2-4 years of solid general ledger accounting experience, with a heavy emphasis on handling complex accruals and reconciliations independently.
Academic Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
ERP Proficiency: Practical experience with Oracle ERP or a comparable enterprise-level financial system is strongly preferred.
Technical Competence: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data analysis) and standard office productivity applications.
Communication Excellence: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, enabling effective and seamless coordination with international stakeholders.
Structured Independence: The ability to work autonomously within a defined SOP framework, exercising sound judgment while adhering to established processes under a night shift schedule.
Analytical Acuity: Strong analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, with the capacity to identify ledger anomalies and resolve them with precision.
