As a Reliever: Accountant, you are a versatile and highly skilled technical contributor. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who can step in and manage complex accounting lifecycles with minimal oversight. You won’t just be processing data; you will be performing advanced reconciliations, identifying financial trends, and ensuring that our global clients receive accurate, GAAP-compliant reporting during critical month-end periods.
Your Impact
Advanced Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries and support the preparation of financial statements. You ensure that all reporting is in strict compliance with GAAP or other relevant international standards.
Month-End Precision: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. You will perform detailed account reconciliations and variance analyses to identify errors, trends, or areas for operational improvement.
Audit & Compliance Support: Act as a key resource during internal and external audits by preparing supporting schedules and documentation. You ensure all accounting records are maintained with a high level of integrity and documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to gather information, resolve accounting discrepancies, and provide specialized tax support tasks as needed to assist the broader team.
Process Innovation: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency. You stay current on the latest accounting rules, regulations, and best practices to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of industry standards.
What You Bring
The Experience:2–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with a solid understanding of core accounting principles and practices. You have a proven track record of handling advanced accounting tasks independently.
Technical Mastery: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. You are a quick learner who can easily adapt to new financial management systems.
The Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. While not required, being a CPA or making progress toward a license is highly preferred.
The Mindset: A proactive problem-solver with exceptional attention to detail. You possess strong organizational and time-management skills, allowing you to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Prowess: Excellent verbal and written English skills. You can build positive relationships across departments and handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
