We're looking for a sharp, adaptable, and dependable Reliever: Accountant to step in and keep the numbers moving. In this high-impact agile role, you will serve as our elite technical backup, stepping into various client accounts seamlessly to take immediate ownership of advanced accounting tasks—from complex journal entries to month-end close support—without the need for guidance. Your Impact

  • Agile Accounting Operations: Adapt swiftly to different client ecosystems, stepping in as a premium technical resource to maintain operational continuity across various general ledgers.

  • Journal Juggler: Prepare, review, and post complex journal entries with absolute precision and consistency across every fast-paced close cycle.

  • Reconciliation Pro: Perform detailed account reconciliations, sub-ledger cleanups, and deep-dive variance analyses to keep financial data clean, accurate, and audit-ready.

  • Close Champion & Reporting Backbone: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes under minimal supervision. Assist in compiling financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP or other international reporting standards.

  • Data Detective: Analyze complex financial datasets to surface transactional errors, identify hidden trends, and flag compliance opportunities before they impact business lines.

  • Audit Ally & Records Guardian: Support internal and external audits by proactively preparing schedules, compiling required documentation, and maintaining traceable record archives.

  • Process Improver: Collaborate dynamically across diverse onshore and offshore teams, introducing best practices and automation ideas to sharpen efficiency across the general accounting function.

 

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 2–5 years of progressive, relevant accounting experience, with deep hands-on expertise in general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliations, and close cycles.

  • Technical Mastery: Highly tech-savvy and proficient with tier-1 and tier-2 accounting ecosystems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar cloud platforms), paired with a strong command of advanced Microsoft Excel functions.

  • The Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification (or a certification currently in progress) is a major advantage but not a dealbreaker.

  • Analytical Edge: Sharp problem-solving and deductive skills. You don't just spot inconsistencies; you possess the tenacity to trace data to its source and implement a permanent fix.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, critical for presenting financial information with absolute clarity and collaborating smoothly across global time zones.

  • Operational Discipline: Exceptional attention to detail, extreme organizational skills, and the agility to navigate changing demands under tight deadlines.
