As a Property Valuation Assistant supporting TrueMarket Property Valuers, you will serve as an integral team member working alongside Australian property valuers. In this specialized support role, you will assist in preparing comprehensive draft desktop valuation reports and rental assessments across Australian commercial, rural, and residential properties. Utilizing research materials, comparable sales data, and instructions provided by licensed Australian Valuers, you will perform property analyses, execute valuation calculations, and draft professional documentation for final valuer review and certification.
Report Drafting & Formatting: Prepare professional draft sections of desktop valuation reports, format documentation using structured templates, and proofread content for final valuer review.
Comparable Sales & Market Analysis: Construct comparable-sales and rental schedules using AI prompts, analyze land and building areas ($/m² and $/hectare metrics), and research property sales history based on valuer-supplied data.
Property & Sector Research: Investigate zoning controls, planning parameters, and development potential, while supporting commercial yield/capitalization analysis and rural agricultural land evaluations.
Calculations & Data Verification: Execute valuation calculations, cross-check source information, and identify discrepancies or missing data across property records.
Record Keeping & Communication: Maintain organized research files, document supporting evidence, and communicate findings and property inquiries clearly to Australian Valuers.
The Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in property research, real estate, valuation support, property administration, or data analysis within a professional services environment.
The Credentials: Qualifications or tertiary education in Property, Real Estate, Land Economics, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred.
Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, basic online property research, and exposure to Australian property research databases (e.g., RPData/CoreLogic) and commercial/residential valuation reports.
The Mindset: Methodical, detail-oriented, and analytical with high numerical accuracy, structured process discipline, and a strong personal interest in the property sector.
Communication Prowess: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for drafting technical reports, presenting research findings, and collaborating with Australian Valuers.
