Salary Range: Php 59,000 – Php 83,000

We're looking for an efficient and highly structured Payroll Officer to join our Clark team. In this role, you will be the administrative heartbeat of our client's finance operations, taking full ownership of high-volume complex payroll processing. If you have a sharp eye for modern compliance, hands-on experience navigating industrial awards, and thrive in meeting rigid weekly timelines, this role is your perfect next step.

 

Your Impact

  • Payday, Every Day: Process complex weekly and fortnightly payroll runs with absolute accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all international workforce members are compensated correctly and on time.

  • Award Detective: Interpret complex Australian Modern Awards and Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs) to guarantee fully compliant, penalty-accurate pay outcomes across a diverse labor force.

  • Timesheet Whisperer & Lifecycle Admin: Manually code, review, and reconcile master timesheets with meticulous attention to detail. Seamlessly set up new starters in the system and manage termination calculations from end to end.

  • System Stewardship: Maintain employee database records and system data integrity. Proactively audit entries to identify and resolve systemic tracking discrepancies before they become compliance liabilities.

  • Query Commander: Serve as the primary, dependable point of contact for internal payroll-related inquiries, delivering clear, empathetic, and professional resolutions via phone and email.

 

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience within a medium-to-large organization, backed by a proven track record of handling high-volume, complex employee pipelines.

  • Industry Insider: A strong background processing payroll within the Mining, Construction, and/or Oil & Gas industries. Deep, practical knowledge of structural and construction industry awards is highly preferred.

  • Tech-Savvy Operator: Proven experience operating computerized enterprise payroll platforms such as Payglobal, PeopleSoft, or highly comparable system databases.

  • The Toolkit: Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills (data lookups, formulas, formatting) paired with sharp numeracy and an obsessive attention to detail.

  • Communication & Agility: Strong verbal and written English skills, giving you the confidence to manage phone inquiries and technical email threads professionally. You are a natural deadline defender who stays composed under high pressure.
