Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting and business service industries.

We are looking for a highly efficient and process-driven Intermediate Bookkeeper to support an established Australian organization. In this role, you will be the absolute financial engine room of daily operations, taking full charge of transactional data and playing a pivotal technical role in modernizing the firm's software systems. Operating in a full-time remote capacity, this position is ideal for a forward-thinking professional who wants to transition traditional client ledgers into highly automated, cloud-based structures.

Your Impact

  • Systems Transformer: Take the operational lead in executing a seamless data and ledger transition from MYOB to Xero. Streamline and standardize general ledger accounts, while proactively identifying digital automation opportunities to boost reporting efficiency.

  • Compliance Guardian & Payroll Commander: Complete the precise preparation and timely lodgment of Australian tax compliance requirements, including BAS statements, PAYG obligations, superannuation contributions, and End of Financial Year (EOFY) reporting. Manage full end-to-end employee payroll processing with absolute regulatory accuracy.

  • Full-Cycle AR/AP Ledger Control: Own the end-to-end invoicing pipeline and act as the primary cash flow defender by following up on outstanding debts and overdue client accounts. Process supplier bills, manage accounts payable approvals, and resolve complex vendor discrepancies.

  • Reporting Champion & Process Architect: Upgrade general ledger coding structures to elevate financial reporting accuracy. Document internal finance procedures, maintain structured digital archives, and prepare final financial statements for executive review.

  • Stakeholder Partner & Customer Ally: Handle new customer system onboarding, maintain corporate pricing matrix structures, and professionally resolve complex account queries. Coordinate documentation and attend strategic meetings with external accountants, financial advisors, and onshore partners.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Solid, hands-on commercial bookkeeping experience handling full-cycle accounts receivable, accounts payable, multi-account bank reconciliations, and financial report compiling.

  • Software Legacy Mastery: Proven operational experience operating within MYOB is essential, paired with a strong technical enthusiasm (or existing practical confidence) for migrating workflows into Xero.

  • Australian Compliance Savvy: A firm working knowledge of the Australian tax ecosystem, specifically regarding BAS, PAYG, superannuation tracking, and EOFY reporting rules.

  • The Toolkit: Proficient in navigating cloud-based financial applications and Microsoft Excel to slice, organize, and analyze transactional data without breaking a sweat.

  • Process-Driven Mindset: A natural passion for continuous workflow optimization and building structural efficiencies. You look for ways to eliminate manual data entry.

  • Communication Skills: Sound written and verbal English communication skills, critical for liaising confidently with remote internal teams, business clients, and external Australian financial advisors.
