Business Advisory & Group Structures: Assist with cash flow summaries, business performance analyses, client advisory communications, and draft corporate secretarial updates (minutes, entity setup documentation, trust deeds, and ASIC/ATO register updates).
Workpaper Quality & Practice Support: Prepare logically referenced workpapers with minimal review points, track WIP reports and draft invoices for manager approval, maintain client databases, and liaise with external stakeholders (insurers, WorkCover, financiers).
What You Bring
Education & Professional Membership: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; active membership in a recognized professional accounting body (CA/CPA or equivalent pathway) is preferred. Holding or obtaining Xero Advisor Certification (including payroll) is highly regarded.
The Experience: 2 to 3 years of quality experience within an Australian public practice or professional accounting firm.

Software Competency: Intermediate proficiency in Xero, Xero Practice Manager (XPM), Xero Tax, MYOB, ATO Portal, Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and exposure to QuickBooks or Reckon.
