Forensic & Litigation Services Associate

Location: Manila, Philippines

Work Arrangement: Onsite, Full-time

Shift: Monday – Friday | 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PHT

Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Forensic & Litigation Services Associate to join our team. This unique role is tailored for an accounting or finance professional eager to enter the specialized field of forensic accounting, valuation, and litigation support—specifically handling marital property, divorce finance, and corporate fraud investigations. Operating onsite on a US-aligned night shift, you will untangle complex financial data, organize legal case evidence, and collaborate directly with Senior Managers, Partners, and expert witnesses to build ironclad litigation strategies.

Your Impact

  • Forensic Investigation & Valuation Support: Assist with complex forensic accounting, asset valuation, and litigation support engagements, focusing primarily on marital property, divorce asset tracing, and financial investigations.

  • Case Document Analysis: Organize, review, and summarize dense legal and financial documents produced by clients, ensuring critical facts are cataloged and highlighted for expert witnesses or testifying individuals.

  • Information & Asset Research: Conduct deep-dive research into public registries, including property deeds, corporate entity filings, and industry-specific market data.

  • Financial Scheduling & Mapping: Schedule comprehensive tax return and financial record data, identify relevant corporate entities, and construct clean visual organizational charts.

  • Trial & Mediation Preparation: Assist in the structural formulation of deposition, mediation, and trial preparation strategies, alongside the generation of precise evidentiary exhibits.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identify accounting anomalies, independently research investigative workarounds, and present cohesive problem-and-solution summaries to firm leadership and partners.

  • Peer Leadership: Act as an internal peer mentor to incoming interns, assisting them with department assimilation and workflow onboarding.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 0–2 years of foundational experience in public accounting or external audit, demonstrating a steady progression in handling technical financial assignments. Fresh graduates with strong academic track records are welcome!

  • The Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. An advanced degree or Master's in a related discipline is a definite plus.

  • Professional Aspirations: Active CPA license or currently working toward eligibility to sit for the CPA board exam, is highly preferred.

  • Technical & Project Skills: Proficient with technology, financial data models, and MS Office (especially Excel). Strong project management and core compliance ethics are essential.

  • Communication Capabilities: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the professional presence to interact with international team members, attorneys, and clients.

  • Shift & Location Readiness: Commitment to working full-time in an onsite setup at our Manila facility on a permanent night shift schedule.
