As a Financial Accountant, you'll be a cornerstone of client success—managing diverse portfolios, guiding junior talent, and delivering strategic insight that goes beyond the numbers. This role is designed for a technical high achiever with years of solid Australian accounting experience who is ready to hit the ground running, take ownership of complex client relationships, and become an indispensable partner to both your team and your clients.

Quality Gatekeeper: Review and elevate the work of graduate, junior, and intermediate staff, ensuring absolute accuracy, compliance, and top-tier professional standards across every financial deliverable.
Portfolio Powerhouse: Manage multiple client portfolios spanning SMEs and family groups, keeping engagements perfectly on track, on time, and consistently exceeding expectations.
Client Whisperer: Liaise directly with clients on complex accounting queries and strategic tax planning discussions, building trusted, long-term relationships that go well beyond baseline compliance.
Team Multiplier: Mentor, train, and develop junior accounting staff—actively sharing your technical expertise and helping the next generation of professionals grow with confidence and capability.
Advisory Ally: Provide proactive, hands-on support to supervisors on specialized corporate advisory projects, contributing sharp critical thinking and technical depth to high-value engagements.
What You Bring
The Experience: 3 to 5 years of solid, hands-on experience working within an Australian accounting firm environment, with a strong, comprehensive grasp of AU tax and compliance frameworks.
Technical Sharpshooter: Deep technical expertise in Australian taxation and public practice workflows that allows you to resolve intricate financial ledger issues efficiently while keeping everything above board and audit-ready.
Client-First Mindset: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with proven relationship management capabilities that allow you to navigate complex client conversations with clarity and confidence.
