At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting and construction industries.

As an Estimator, you are the strategic architect of the bid process. This role is designed for a technically proficient professional who can transform complex project requirements into accurate, competitive, and winning proposals. You won’t just be crunching numbers; you will be analyzing market norms, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that every submission reflects our commitment to quality, safety, and commercial excellence.

Your Impact

  • Tendering Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end quote process from initial read-in to final submission. Interpret Request for Tender (RFT) documents, prepare technical clarifications, and manage client RFIs.

  • Precision Cost Engineering: Compile high-accuracy estimates and pricing schedules aligned with market values. Monitor estimating databases to ensure realistic costing and seek approval for competitive modifications.

  • Proposal Integration: Collaborate with Senior Estimators to develop proposal strategies, work method statements, and construction schedules that match client criteria.

  • Post-Award Handover: Participate in tender handover meetings with Project Managers and assist with "better buying" strategies and value engineering solutions to optimize project delivery.

  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Build and maintain honest relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while expanding the vendor network to support upcoming projects.

What You Bring

  • The Credentials: A degree qualification in Electrical Engineering is required.

  • Technical Experience: Extensive experience in estimating within the commercial, industrial, mining, resources, or construction sectors.

  • Software Skills: Proficiency with estimating software such as WinEst, Simpro, or similar database systems, alongside advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills.

  • Industry Knowledge: A solid baseline understanding of OHS policies, Environmental compliance, and Quality Management systems.

  • Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational and time management skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with global stakeholders.
