Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

We are seeking a versatile, commercially minded Senior Bookkeeper to oversee end-to-end finance, payroll, and HR administration operations. Working closely with the Director and team leaders, this pivotal role combines full-charge Australian accounting and tax compliance with employee lifecycle administration, cash flow management, pricing analysis, and financial modeling. Operating 100% remotely on an Australian-aligned day shift, you will build scalable systems and deliver strategic insights that drive financial clarity and commercial growth.

Your Impact

  • Payroll, Superannuation & Australian Tax Compliance: Process accurate fortnightly payroll via Xero, execute per-pay-period Superannuation contributions, lodge BAS/IAS returns, process payroll tax, and manage workers' compensation premiums and claims.

  • Financial Accounting & Revenue Management: Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable using Xero and Jackrabbit. Perform bank/credit card reconciliations and extract operational data for revenue tracking.

  • HR Lifecycle & Compliance: Administer full employee lifecycles—including contracts, onboarding, leave/attendance tracking, and performance reviews—while coordinating with external HR advisors (Peninsula) to maintain employment compliance.

  • Financial Planning, Analysis & Cash Flow: Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow oversight, and Profit & Loss analysis to provide actionable insights directly to the Director.

  • Commercial Strategy & Pricing Optimization: Develop pricing models across programs and classes, monitor cost centre structures, adjust pricing for inflation, and identify opportunities to maximize margins and control costs.

  • Systems & Process Leadership: Maintain seamless operations across Xero, time/attendance tools (Deputy/Crewtracker), and Jackrabbit to build efficient, scalable workflows.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Demonstrated senior-level experience spanning full-charge bookkeeping, Australian payroll, HR compliance, and commercial financial management.

  • Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Xero and familiarity with specialized operational software like Jackrabbit. Hands-on experience with time and attendance platforms (e.g., Deputy, Crewtracker, or similar).

  • Tax & Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of Australian taxation frameworks—including BAS/IAS lodgments, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and Workers' Compensation guidelines.

  • Analytical & Commercial Mindset: High capability in financial modeling, pricing strategy design, cash flow forecasting, and cost-center accounting.

  • Core Competencies: Proactive ownership, calm problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, and multi-priority organizational habits.

  • Communication Capabilities: Clear, confident written and verbal English communication skills to partner effectively with company directors, team leaders, and external advisors.
