Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

As our Bookkeeper & Payroll Specialist, you will be the financial backbone of a growing international multi-entity portfolio. From keeping complex general ledgers spotless to executing end-to-end payroll runs and managing multi-currency expense allocations, you will own the day-to-day numbers with precision and purpose. Working closely with finance leadership across multiple corporate structures, you will utilize modern cloud accounting platforms to ensure the books are clean, audit-ready, and compliant. If you are a process-driven finance professional who excels in a multi-company environment, this role is your next career destination.

Your Impact

  • Ledger Legend & Multi-Entity Maven: Accurately categorize transactions across multiple international corporate entities. Maintain clean, standardized general ledgers, support month-end close sequences, and identify account misallocations before they affect executive financial statements.

  • Reconciliation Royalty: Perform daily and monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations. Investigate transactional discrepancies, resolve variances at the source, and preserve rigorous documentation to always keep books audit-ready.

  • AP/AR Ace: Process vendor disbursements, coordinate structured payment runs, generate client invoices, and actively manage aging receivables. Maintain clean master data records, including the collection of compliance documentation like W-9 forms and payment details.

  • Payroll Pro: Support end-to-end payroll processing sequences by compiling, verifying, and validating hourly and salaried payroll data. Partner with HR desks and finance leadership to resolve payroll ledger anomalies and post accurate, reconciled payroll journal entries.

  • Expense Enforcer: Review, code, and process employee travel and corporate expense reimbursements. Ensure strict compliance with company policies, verify supporting receipt documentation, and drive smooth workflow approvals within specialized expense management platforms.

  • Process Builder: Apply a continuous-improvement mindset to build disciplined, scalable financial workflows, transforming manual bookkeeping habits into structured systems that prevent ledger errors.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping or staff accounting experience, with strong operational exposure to general ledger management, balance sheet reconciliations, transactional AP/AR workflows, and automated payroll systems.

  • Market Exposure: Prior experience supporting U.S.-based or international companies, with a solid understanding of North American business structures, tax forms, and close cycles.

  • Excel Wizardry: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets capabilities—pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP functions, and complex data parsing methods are completely second nature to you.

  • Platform Fluency: High comfort operating within modern cloud accounting ecosystems and digital expense management platforms, coupled with a natural curiosity to adapt quickly as the corporate tech stack evolves.

  • Communication & Deadline DNA: Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills, allowing you to manage recurring close schedules seamlessly, flag processing anomalies early, and collaborate smoothly across multiple remote business sectors.

  • The Credentials: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline, or equivalent hands-on industry experience that demonstrates thorough ledger proficiency.
