Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

We are looking for a sharp and detail-driven Accounts Payable Officer to join our dynamic corporate finance team. In this role, you will take complete ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable lifecycle—from multi-tiered invoice processing and high-volume supplier reconciliations to automated payment runs and month-end closing activities. If you possess an unyielding passion for clean financial data, a knack for operational process improvement, and hands-on experience navigating the commercial nuances of the construction or building industry, this is your opportunity to build a premium international career.

Your Impact

  • Invoice Whisperer & Matching Maestro: Process corporate invoices and employee expense claims accurately and efficiently. Execute rigorous 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices against purchase orders (POs) and site delivery dockets to systematically eliminate pricing or quantity discrepancies.

  • Approval Gatekeeper: Audit and verify proper authorizations across all supplier invoices and corporate check requests against delegated authority limits before releasing any financial liabilities.

  • Payment Powerhouse: Prepare, schedule, and execute domestic and international electronic funds transfers (EFT) and structured automated payment runs with absolute accuracy.

  • Query Crusher: Manage the centralized Accounts Payable inbox, serving as the primary point of contact to resolve internal project stakeholder and external vendor inquiries professionally.

  • Workflow Orchestrator & Vendor Vault Keeper: Coordinate the full supplier lifecycle—from compliant vendor onboarding and master file setup to payment terms maintenance and regular compliance audits.

  • Reconciliation Rockstar: Reconcile sub-ledger accounts payable balances against vendor statements of account and track aging accounts to ensure corporate payments remain current.

  • Close-Out Champion & Process Improver: Support the broader finance team during month-end close sequences by preparing accurate AP accruals, ledger reconciliations, and age-analysis reporting. Proactively identify operational bottlenecks to drive continuous workflow automation.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Proven core experience in an accounts payable, credit control, or transactional corporate accounting role, ideally gained within a construction, engineering, supply chain, or building services ecosystem.

  • ERP Proficiency (Highly Preferred): Hands-on operational experience navigating NetSuite or a comparable enterprise-grade ERP system is heavily valued.

  • Numbers Know-How: A rock-solid understanding of general accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and sub-ledger mechanics, backed by sharp analytical data-sorting skills.

  • Detail Devotee: An exceptional eye for detail and strong problem-solving capabilities, with a proven track record of catching and resolving numerical or billing compliance errors early.

  • Communicator Extraordinaire: Flawless verbal and written English communication skills, enabling you to build trust, enforce guidelines, and clarify discrepancies with international suppliers and project managers.

  • Solo Performer: A highly diligent, process-driven professional who works autonomously with minimal operational oversight, thriving under strict corporate month-end timelines.

  • The Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related commercial discipline to underpin your practical corporate finance expertise.
