Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, corporate finance, and public practice industries.

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will be the backbone of a high-performing corporate finance function—keeping supplier relationships strong, financials accurate, and junior team members sharp. This is an exceptional opportunity for a finance professional who knows the ins and outs of the Australian corporate ecosystem, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to step up as both a technical ledger expert and an emerging team leader.

Your Impact

  • Quality Gatekeeper: Review, verify, and approve high-volume invoice processing completed by junior bookkeeping staff, ensuring absolute data accuracy, tax compliance, and systemic consistency across every transaction.

  • Supplier Whisperer: Take full ownership of complex supplier statement reconciliations and manage key vendor accounts, resolving historical ledger discrepancies and building strong, trust-based commercial relationships.

  • Month-End Maven: Calculate, prepare, and post precise Accounts Payable accruals and month-end reporting packs that give leadership a clear, reliable, and timely picture of the business’s true financial position.

  • Team Multiplier: Proactively train and mentor graduate and junior AP officers, sharing your technical expertise to elevate the broader production team's capability, processing speed, and confidence.

  • Audit Ally: Fully support recurring internal and external audit procedures by compiling thorough, well-organized backend AP schedules, transaction receipts, and compliance documentation that easily holds up to scrutiny.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 2 to 4 years of dedicated Australian accounts payable experience, ideally gained navigating a high-volume, multi-entity corporate environment.

  • Compliance Confidence: Strong technical knowledge of Australian transactional workflows, including a solid grasp of GST allocations, tax invoice compliance guidelines, and general ledger coding structures.

  • Leader in the Making: A proven ability or strong aptitude to guide, mentor, and inspire junior team members. You enjoy lifting others up while keeping your individual production standards sky-high.

  • Sharp Problem Solver: An analytical mindset with the ability to dig deep into purchase order anomalies, identify systemic root causes of payment friction, and implement practical, lasting ledger solutions.

  • ERP Power User: Solid hands-on experience navigating cloud-based ERP accounting systems and reporting modules (e.g., Xero, MYOB, NetSuite, or similar enterprise tools), effortlessly turning raw transactional data into clear financial clarity.

  • Communication Acumen: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, critical for managing smooth, professional telephone and email correspondence with Australian suppliers and internal stakeholders.
