We are seeking a collaborative, technical Senior Accountant to lead audit execution, accounting deliverables, and strategic client advisory for an established Australian public practice. Client Service & Communication: Translate complex technical information into clear written and verbal communications, clarifying client needs to consistently exceed engagement expectations.
Project Administration & Chargeable Time: Track billable hours accurately, eliminate barriers to project success, and deliver high-quality outputs requiring minimal review points.
Ethics & Business Development: Maintain pristine ethical standards, support cross-selling opportunities across practice divisions, and participate in firm networking initiatives.
What You Bring
The Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting/auditing experience, ideally within public practice or multi-industry environments (e.g., financial services, manufacturing, technology, or non-profit sectors).
Credentials & Degrees: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional accounting qualification (CA / CPA or equivalent) is required.
Technical Mastery: Deep working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AAS), IFRS, and audit methodologies, alongside proficiency in modern audit software tools.
