We are seeking an accurate, client-focused Accountant to manage full-scope accounting and monthly close procedures for a portfolio of US customers. Working closely with senior accountants, you will take ownership of full-charge bookkeeping, cloud tech stack optimization, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. You will serve as a trusted technical partner, delivering streamlined financial workflows, clean general ledgers, and clear reporting insights.

Your Impact

• Full-Scope Client Accounting: Manage day-to-day transactional accounting for assigned client accounts, overseeing customer billing, accounts receivable tracking, expense processing, and accounts payable operations.

• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Categorize transactions accurately, maintain supporting work papers, manage balance sheet schedules (prepaids, fixed assets, depreciation, loans, inventory), and post month-end adjusting journals.

• Reconciliations & Account Integrity: Perform monthly bank, credit card, merchant, and external account reconciliations to ensure complete ledger accuracy.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements alongside custom reports for client leadership decision-making.

• Systems Optimization & Troubleshooting: Optimize accounting information systems using integrated cloud technology tools, resolve ledger discrepancies promptly, and streamline client financial workflows.

• Client Relationship & Collaboration: Partner with senior accountants and maintain open, proactive communication with US clients to address operational queries and deliver high-touch service.

What You Bring

• The Experience: 3+ years of recent, full-charge bookkeeping/accounting experience gained in a client-facing service environment (e.g., public accounting, shared services, or outsourced accounting).

• Cloud Software Competency: Proficiency with modern cloud accounting applications—specifically QuickBooks Online (QBO), Bill.com, Expensify, and Bill Spend & Expense. Experience with ecommerce integrations like A2X is a strong advantage.

• Tech Stack & Collaboration: Familiarity with workflow and communication tools (Slack, Zoom, Financial Cents, Keeper) paired with strong MS Excel and Google Sheets data analysis skills.

• Accounting Expertise: Solid understanding of the full accounting cycle, GAAP principles, balance sheet schedule preparation, and ecommerce accounting fundamentals.

• Core Skills & Communication: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-tasking abilities, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.

• Credentials: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration).
