With a global presence spanning Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, we empower accounting and business professionals by providing world-class opportunities and support.
As an Operations Associate on the Payment Request (PR) Processing team, you are a critical driver of accurate benefits delivery of pet veterinary care. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who excels in reviewing complex claims against member plans and client-specific guidelines. You will not just be inputting data; you will be assessing line items, reconciling financial details, and collaborating with international teams to maintain fast, accurate processing in a high-volume environment.
Your Impact
Invoice Review & Benefits Application: Carefully review veterinary clinic invoices to verify member, pet, clinic, and plan eligibility. Assess each line-item using code mappings to apply clinic- and client-specific benefits accurately while identifying covered versus non-covered services.
Processing Accuracy & Timeliness: Efficiently manage your daily workload to achieve individual production and quality standards. Ensure payment requests are processed promptly within expected turnaround timelines.
Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile invoice totals, applied benefits, in-clinic payments, clinic write-offs, and remaining client balances with high precision before finalizing requests.
Escalations & Collaboration: Investigate enrollment and billing discrepancies using internal systems. Draft and route clear escalation tickets with complete context for unresolved coverage questions, coordinating with teammates to ensure swift resolution.
Documentation & Data Integrity: Maintain clear, accurate records of all processing decisions while strictly adhering to data security guidelines for sensitive member and clinic information.
Process Improvement: Identify recurring invoice discrepancies and workflow challenges. Actively apply quality feedback, complete follow-up on pending requests, and stay updated on evolving standard operating procedures.
What You Bring
The Experience: Proven background in data processing, invoice review, claims assessment, or back-office operations. Experience handling US-based benefit, insurance, or healthcare workflows is an advantage.
Technical Mastery: Strong numerical ability and proficiency in navigating specialized internal software, digital tools, and spreadsheet databases for accurate record-keeping.
The Credentials: Keen attention to detail with a solid grasp of line-item verification, fee schedules, and financial reconciliation principles.
The Mindset: A proactive, quality-focused team player who excels in meeting production targets, maintains consistency under tight deadlines, and handles complex guidelines with sound judgment.
Communication Prowess: Excellent written English skills to document decisions clearly, summarize findings in escalation tickets, and collaborate effectively with international stakeholders.
