We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance and accounting team. You will manage day-to-day transactions, process accounts payable and receivable, execute bank reconciliations up to the trial balance stage, and support broader month-end compliance workflows.

Your Impact

• Day-to-Day Transaction Processing: Handle general data entry, process accounts payable and receivable transactions, and create supplier batch payment files accurately.

• Accounts Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure complete financial record accuracy.

• Compliance & Reporting Support: Assist with the preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS), payroll processing, debtor management, and month-end/year-end reporting processes.

• Administrative & Team Support: Maintain up-to-date client and supplier records, organize electronic financial documentation, and respond professionally to internal and external enquiries.

What You Bring

• Education & Credentials: Graduate of Accountancy or a related course, Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or currently undertaking studies.

• The Experience: At least 1 to 2 years of dedicated Australian bookkeeping experience.

• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and working knowledge of modern cloud accounting software platforms such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.

• Core Competencies: Solid grasp of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals, rigorous attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and effective written and verbal English communication abilities.
