Unlock Your Potential!
At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.
We are seeking an autonomous, tech-forward Senior Bookkeeper with expert-level QuickBooks Online capabilities to lead full-charge bookkeeping, monthly close procedures, and payroll reconciliations for a growing US accounting firm. Operating onsite initially from any of our facilities during US Eastern business hours (with hybrid potential later), you will configure QBO automation, manage bank rules, execute full reconciliations, and drive tech-enabled accounting workflows. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision and takes full ownership of financial accuracy.
Your Impact
Advanced QBO Setup & Management: Configure QuickBooks Online file setups, structure chart of accounts, build custom bank rules, and leverage platform automations and modern AI/technology tools to maximize workflow efficiency.
Full-Charge Bookkeeping & Monthly Close: Execute end-to-end full-charge bookkeeping, bank and credit card reconciliations, balance sheet accounts cleanups, and complete accurate monthly financial closes with minimal review required.
Payroll Processing & Reconciliation: Execute payroll through provider platforms, reconcile payroll reports against general ledger accounting entries, and maintain exact payroll liabilities tracking.
In-House US Compliance Training: Learn California-specific sales tax filings and US payroll compliance procedures via comprehensive in-house training programs.
Client & Internal Communication: Maintain clear written English communication for internal team updates, billing inquiries, and financial reporting coordination.
What You Bring
The Experience: Solid full-charge bookkeeping experience managing end-to-end monthly closes, account reconciliations, and payroll entries. Prior US bookkeeping, tax firm, or US accounting experience is preferred but not required.
Software Expertise: Advanced hands-on expertise with QuickBooks Online (QBO)—specifically setup, rule building, chart of accounts structuring, and process automation—beyond basic data entry.
Tech & AI Mindset: Technology-forward attitude with strong enthusiasm for adopting modern automation, tech integrations, and AI productivity tools.
US Compliance Readiness: Exposure to US payroll processing or state sales tax (such as California) is a plus; full training on regional US procedures will be provided.
Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, highly self-directed work ethic, and excellent written English communication.
