As a US Intermediate Accountant, you will manage full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a diverse portfolio of U.S. clients. This role is designed for an analytical, proactive professional who brings a strategic mindset beyond standard bookkeeping. Working from our Clark facility, you will handle complex month-end closes, build clean financial records for newly onboarded clients, prepare year-end tax workpapers, and collaborate closely with U.S. teams to deliver high-visibility financial insights.
Your Impact
Full-Cycle Accounting Mastery: Manage full-cycle accounting operations for multiple U.S. clients across various industries, ensuring accurate general ledgers and timely financial statements.
Month-End & Year-End Close: Own the end-to-end close process, preparing and reviewing Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss reports complete with clear explanations and financial insights.
Complex Reconciliations: Perform rigorous bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving all discrepancies promptly.
Onboarding & Catch-Up Bookkeeping: Build and clean up records for newly onboarded clients by establishing accurate beginning balances, organizing financial data, and requesting necessary system access.
AP, AR & Compliance: Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows, handle 1099 compliance (W-9 collection and vendor tracking), and prepare sales tax returns.
Tax Workpaper Preparation: Prepare comprehensive year-end tax workpapers to support business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, and 1065).
Process Optimization: Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements or automation using modern cloud accounting and productivity tools.
What You Bring
The Experience: 2 to 4+ years of dedicated U.S. accounting experience, with a proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, with familiarity in Xero, Gusto, and Bill.com. Experience with reporting tools like Reach Reporting or Syft Analytics is a strong advantage.
The Mindset: A proactive, resourceful, and strategic problem-solver who possesses a CFO-level mindset and looks beyond basic data entry to drive financial clarity.
Software Fluency: Comfort navigating productivity platforms such as Karbon, Slack, Google Workspace, and Practice Protect.
Communication Prowess: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, allowing you to draft clear, professional emails and collaborate seamlessly with U.S. clients and internal teams.
