We are seeking an analytical, tech-driven Reliever: Audit Data Analyst to join a leading CPA and consulting firm. You will serve as a key technical resource for audit data acquisition, data manipulation, and advanced financial analytics. In this role, you will format complex client files, perform audit procedures on financial statements and internal controls, research innovative data tools, and collaborate closely with onshore audit teams to drive engagement efficiency and analytical depth.

Your Impact

• Audit Data Analytics (ADAs) Delivery: Participate in audit client engagements as a technical specialist to develop, execute, and refine data analytics models for external audit procedures.

• Data Manipulation & Formatting: Acquire, clean, and format complex structured/unstructured client data files and supporting documents to enable deep analytical testing by audit teams.

• Financial Statement & Internal Control Testing: Perform external audit procedures on financial statements, verify internal control metrics, and measure key financial data indicators.

• Tool Innovation & Process Optimization: Assist in researching, piloting, and deploying new data tools (such as Alteryx, PowerBI, or SQL) to streamline audit workflows and elevate technical value.

• Engagement Management & Client Relations: Coordinate with team members and clients to gather required data, track personal billable hours against engagement budgets, and maintain trust-based professional relationships.

What You Bring

• Education & Academic Record: Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Accounting, Information Systems, or Business Administration with a strong cumulative GPA.

• Advanced Excel & Analytics: Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (complex functions, data modeling, automation) and a solid foundation in data manipulation methodologies.

• Database & Tool Experience: Working knowledge of relational database management systems like SQL Server and MS Access. Exposure to analytics/visualization tools—such as Alteryx, PowerBI, IDEA, ACL, Python, or R—is a distinct advantage.

• Audit & Business Acumen: Fundamental understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and internal control structures within a public practice or consulting environment.

• Core Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving ability, self-directed work ethic, strong written/verbal English communication, professional presence, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.
