Unlock Your Potential!
At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure pristine ledger integrity. In this 100% remote role, you will manage full-cycle accounting tasks—including AP/AR processing, general ledger maintenance, monthly financial statement preparation, payroll journal reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting. Operating on a US-aligned night shift, you will work independently while collaborating with management and external CPAs to drive financial accuracy, tax compliance, and process automation.
Your Impact
General Ledger & Financial Reporting: Maintain general ledger entries, record accruals, perform monthly bank, credit card, and loan reconciliations, and compile monthly Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow reports.
Accounts Payable & Vendor Management: Match POs, receipts, and vendor invoices, manage vendor relationships, resolve billing discrepancies, maintain W-9 records, and prepare weekly payment runs.
Accounts Receivable & Collections: Generate customer invoices, record incoming deposits, monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve client billing queries.
Payroll & Cash Management: Coordinate payroll runs with the Accounting Manager (via Gusto), post payroll journal entries, reconcile merchant platforms/electronic payments, monitor daily cash balances, and prepare cash forecasts.
Tax, Audit & Process Improvement: Prepare sales tax and B&O tax documentation, assist external CPAs with annual tax filings, support inventory/job costing accounting (if applicable), and drive accounting process automation and internal controls.
What You Bring
The Experience: 4+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience, with a solid understanding of GAAP principles, month-end closing procedures, and financial statement preparation. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or project-based businesses is preferred.
Credentials & Degrees: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (preferred). Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation is a plus.
Software Competency: Proficiency in ERP or accounting software—with Acumatica experience being a strong plus—alongside advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on experience with payroll platforms like Gusto. AP automation experience is an advantage.
Technical Mastery: Strong grasp of general ledger accounting, payroll journal reconciliations, inventory/job costing concepts, merchant payment reconciliation, and US tax compliance support.
Communication & Operational Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, high numeric accuracy, dependable self-management, and a proactive mindset for process improvement.
