Shift: Monday – Friday | 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PHT

Salary Range: Php 45,000 – Php 55,000

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive US Intermediate Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of full-cycle accounting, transactional data processing, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules for US-based public accounting clients. You will work collaboratively with international firm leaders to maintain accurate general ledgers, resolve accounting variances, and deliver high-quality financial support.

Your Impact

• General Ledger & Financial Accounting: Execute day-to-day US accounting tasks, including transaction categorization, ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end journal postings.

• Account Reconciliations: Perform routine bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations, verifying entries against source documentation to ensure ledger integrity.

• Tax & Audit Support: Assist with workpaper compilation, trial balance adjustments, and supporting schedule preparations following public accounting firm standards.

• Analytical Problem Solving: Investigate ledger discrepancies, resolve out-of-balance accounts, and apply sharp analytical skills to improve accounting workflow efficiency.

• Collaborative Team Communication: Maintain clear, proactive communication with onshore managers and team members to address technical questions, share status updates, and ensure steady progress on assignments.

What You Bring

• The Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Tax, Accounting, and/or Audit within a public accounting firm environment (a core requirement for this role).

• Credentials & Degrees: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.

• Software Competency: Proficiency with cloud accounting applications, with hands-on experience in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Xero strongly preferred.

• Mindset & Ownership: High level of initiative, self-motivation, strong detail orientation, and a positive, proactive attitude.

• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the clarity and confidence to discuss technical matters and raise questions when guidance is needed.
