Unlock Your Potential!
At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.
We are seeking a proactive, reliable Senior Bookkeeper to join our shared services finance group in Manila. In this hands-on, multi-entity role, you will oversee full-cycle bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank and venue revenue reconciliations, and end-to-end Australian payroll processing across various entities, venues, and clubs. Operating onsite on a convenient Australian-aligned daytime schedule, you will work closely with Finance Managers to ensure pristine financial ledgers, strict statutory compliance, and smooth day-to-day operations.
Your Impact
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process supplier invoices via Dext and Xero, manage weekly payment runs, generate ABA payment files, handle customer billing, and reconcile debtor/creditor ledgers.
Reconciliations & Cash Control: Reconcile bank, credit card, clearing, and reception takings accounts. Perform revenue/cash matching, maintain accounting system integrations, and assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
End-to-End Australian Payroll: Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls using Xero Payroll. Manage timesheets, player payrolls/honorariums, leave entitlements, SuperStream superannuation contributions (Payday Super), and Single Touch Payroll (STP) lodgments while ensuring Award compliance.
Month-End & Australian Tax Compliance: Prepare supporting schedules for month-end financial reporting, assist with Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Activity Statements (IAS), and compile schedules for external audits.
Stakeholder Support & Process Optimization: Serve as a responsive liaison for venue and club staff regarding invoice and payroll inquiries while identifying continuous process improvement opportunities.
What You Bring
The Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally managing multi-entity accounts, hospitality/venue businesses, or Australian accounting functions.
Technical Mastery: Strong experience using Xero and Dext. Intermediate MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis).
Payroll & Tax Knowledge: Solid practical understanding of Australian payroll processes (STP, SuperStream, Award compliance) and Australian tax requirements (BAS/IAS).
Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-entity time management habits, and the capacity to meet strict recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to interact professionally with club managers, internal leaders, and staff.
Credentials: Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
