We are seeking an autonomous, driven Senior Accountant to support a rapidly expanding business acquiring residential equipment deal ships. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will take full ownership of the month-end close, balance sheet integrity, weekly KPI reporting, and post-acquisition integration. Operating remotely on a US-aligned night shift, this role is ideal for a proactive US GAAP expert who thrives in fast-paced M&A environments, loves building scalable systems, and is excited to contribute directly to a Sage Intacct ERP implementation.

Your Impact

• Month-End Close Ownership: Lead end-to-end month-end close cycles across multiple operating entities, driving toward a compressed close calendar while ensuring total accuracy of journal entries and period-end deliverables.

• Balance Sheet & Reconciliations: Prepare, maintain, and audit monthly balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts, resolving variances with urgency and maintaining clear documentation.

• Sage Intacct ERP Implementation: Act as a key hands-on contributor to the Sage Intacct ERP implementation, taking charge of workflow testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Post-Acquisition M&A Integration: Support the onboarding of newly acquired entities, setting up opening balance sheets, mapping charts of accounts, and transitioning new business units onto unified systems.

• KPI Dashboards & Visibility: Compile and update weekly KPI dashboards to provide executive leadership with real-time visibility into operational and financial performance across entities.

What You Bring

• The Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with proven ownership of full month-end close cycles. Public accounting background is a plus.

• US GAAP Mastery: Solid command of US GAAP and accrual accounting principles. Prior exposure to percentage of completion revenue recognition is a strong advantage.

• Software Competencies: Strong preference for Sage Intacct experience (especially ERP implementation exposure). Familiarity with ServiceTitan or multi-system environments is a major plus.

• The Integrator Mindset: Self-directed, outcome-oriented self-starter who thrives in fast-moving M&A environments and enjoys untangling ambiguity to build scalable processes.

• US Shift Readiness: Willingness and discipline to work a full-time, US-aligned night shift schedule remotely.

• Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
