Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting, finance, and supply chain sectors.

As Operations Manager you oversee and coordinate the workflow, operations and people of an accounting firm. You are the operational anchor for that one firm, taking ownership of how the work flows day to day, how the team is supported, and how smoothly the firm operates against agreed standards. You keep delivery running and create an engaging, high-performing environment where team members thrive.

Your Impact

  • Workflow & Operational Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the flow of work for the firm – capacity, allocation, throughput and turnaround – so the team operates smoothly and to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Monitor performance and implement improvements that lift quality and client satisfaction.

  •

  • Team Support & Development: Support, coordinate and develop the offshore team dedicated to the firm. Set clear expectations, run regular performance conversations, give constructive feedback, and build individual capability and career pathways.

  •

  • Employee Experience & Retention: Foster a supportive, high-achieving environment. Drive engagement, wellbeing and retention within the team, and ensure people have the resources and support they need to succeed.

  •

  • Client Relationship (Operational): Act as the day-to-day operational contact for the firm. Build trust, manage expectations, and resolve operational escalations quickly and constructively.

  •

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process optimisations within the firm. Streamline workflows and strengthen communication between the offshore team and the firm.

  •

  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure the team adheres to policies, security and IT requirements, and approved ways of working.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, management or a related field.

  • Accounting qualifications are not required – this is an operations and workflow role, not a technical accounting role.

  • [2]+ years in an operations, coordination or team-support role, ideally within professional services, outsourcing or a similar environment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving and analytical ability.

  • Clear, effective written and verbal English communication.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality

  • Values-based leadership – a genuine obsession with the value of people.

  • Operations and workflow coordination skills – you keep delivery running smoothly. A technical accounting qualification is not required.

  • Enough understanding of how an accounting firm operates to coordinate its workflow and speak the client's language.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust and resolve conflict.

  • Outcomes-focused with sound judgement and comfort operating in ambiguity.
