Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

We are seeking a highly authoritative, hands-on Senior Accountant to serve as the primary financial steward of a rapidly scaling organization. In this dual-capacity leadership role, you will take full ownership of international financial operations, driving absolute compliance across US GAAP, managing federal and state tax portfolios, and orchestrating comprehensive audit lifecycles. Operating onsite from our world-class facilities on a US-aligned night shift, you will directly manage and mentor a junior bookkeeper while delivering critical financial intelligence to executive leadership.

Your Impact

  • Financial Reporting & Close Ownership: Lead the complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Prepare institutional-grade financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) in strict alignment with US GAAP.

  • General Ledger & Control Architecture: Oversee full-cycle AP, AR, and intricate general ledger structures. Establish, document, and enforce internal control frameworks and accounting policies to safeguard corporate assets.

  • Inventory & Cost Accounting Management: Manage corporate inventory accounting, conducting thorough Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) analysis, tracking stock valuations, and spearheading variance reporting across facilities.

  • US Tax Compliance & Strategy: Coordinate federal, state, and local tax filings (income, sales, use, and property taxes). Supervise estimated tax schedules, tax provisions, and deferred tax calculations while keeping abreast of US tax law adjustments.

  • Audit Coordination & PBC Readiness: Serve as the chief liaison for external auditors. Direct the compilation of complex audit schedules, supporting documentation, and Prepared-by-Client (PBC) workpapers to ensure seamless seasonal reviews.

  • People Leadership & Mentorship: Supervise, train, and structurally mentor a junior bookkeeper. Delegate data entry, check runs, and cash applications while executing rigorous quality reviews over their work.

  • Workflow Automation & Advisory: Identify operational bottlenecks to streamline accounting workflows, optimize ERP system utility, and partner with cross-functional executive teams to provide strategic financial insights.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive corporate accounting experience, showing a clear upward trajectory into financial controllership, hands-on US GAAP applications, and multi-state tax handling.

  • Technical Mastery: In-depth exposure to full-cycle accounting, inventory valuation models, balance sheet reconciliations, internal controls, or SOX compliance concepts.

  • Leadership Capabilities: Proven experience directly supervising, coaching, and evaluating at least one bookkeeping or junior accounting staff member.

  • Software & Systems Intelligence: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets. Hands-on experience navigating major ERP software ecosystems (such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or SAP) is required.

  • Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly related discipline. An active or inactive CPA license is strongly preferred. Previous background in public accounting (Big 4 or regional firms) is a major plus.

  • Shift & Facility Readiness: Full commitment to working full-time in an onsite capacity out of our Clark, Cebu, Manila, or Tarlac site on a permanent night shift schedule.
