We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing corporate finance team. In this role, you will take complete ownership of end-to-end accounts payable processes while supporting fundamental bookkeeping functions for international clients. Operating during US business hours in a flexible hybrid structure, this position is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who takes pride in numerical accuracy, ledger efficiency, and delivering consistent sub-ledger reconciliation results within a highly collaborative team environment.

 

Your Impact

  • Payables Precision: Process and manage end-to-end accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all incoming vendor invoices, credits, and disbursement batches are recorded in strict accordance with established accounting procedures.

  • Ledger Stewardship: Assist with essential cloud bookkeeping tasks including the clean maintenance of financial records, reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers, and provision of operational data to support seamless month-end closing sequences.

  • Vendor Relations: Coordinate proactively with international suppliers and internal corporate stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies, track down missing receipts, respond to payment inquiries, and maintain positive commercial relationships.

  • Data Integrity: Enter and verify financial details with a high degree of precision, leveraging intermediate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to manage, cross-reference, and analyze multi-entity payables information effectively.

  • Document Management: Prepare, organize, and maintain digital financial documentation libraries, audit trails, and transactional correspondence using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to support executive reporting requirements.

  • Process Adherence & Collaboration: Follow established internal controls and accounts payable workflows methodically. Identify potential operational bottlenecks for process improvement, escalate anomalies early, and work alongside fellow accounting team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

 

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Proven hands-on experience handling core accounts payable, data entry bookkeeping, or transactional finance administration workflows, with a solid understanding of double-entry accounting principles.

  • Excel & Office Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel (comfortable utilizing formulas, text filters, data sorting, and balance cross-checks), along with full corporate working proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Numerical Acuity & Speed: Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to accurately process financial data and perform calculations with confidence. Backed by proficient typing skills with a minimum speed of 50 words per minute (WPM) and excellent keyboarding accuracy.

  • Articulate Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills in English, with the capacity to correspond professionally with cross-border clients, external vendors, and management.

  • Process & Checklist Discipline: A natural ability to follow defined workflows, respect segregation of duties, maintain individual accountability, and flag ledger variances before they impact financial deadlines.

  • Collaborative Spirit: A demonstrated ability to integrate effectively within a remote or hybrid team environment, contributing positively to a professional and cooperative workplace culture.
