As a BIM Operator, you are the digital architect behind precision-built electrical systems. This role is designed for a technical specialist who thrives at the intersection of engineering, design, and construction technology. You won’t just be modeling in Revit; you will be coordinating multi-discipline designs, resolving clashes before they hit the field, and ensuring every drawing that leaves your screen is build-ready and compliant with the highest BIM standards.

Your Impact

• Model Maestro: Develop, update, and manage detailed electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit, producing precise 2D shop drawings and construction documentation that bring engineering designs to life.

• Clash Crusher: Coordinate electrical services across mechanical, hydraulic, fire, architectural, and structural disciplines—using Navisworks, Autodesk Forma, and Revizto to detect and resolve clashes before they become costly site problems.

• Standards Sentinel: Maintain BIM standards, project documentation, and collaboration workflows as defined by the BIM Manager, ensuring every model output aligns with project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and LOD requirements.

• Buildability Watchdog: Proactively identify design issues that could affect buildability and project outcomes, flagging risks early and working with engineers and project managers to find practical solutions.

• Team Connector: Liaise effectively with engineers, project managers, project coordinators, and the wider onsite project team to keep day-to-day BIM activities running smoothly and on schedule.

What You Bring

• The Experience: Proven experience in BIM coordination for electrical services on real construction projects, with a strong understanding of electrical installations and sequencing.

• Technical Mastery: Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk BIM 360, Autodesk Forma, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revizto—you know your way around the full BIM toolbox.

• BIM Know-How: Solid knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Level of Development (LOD) requirements, ensuring every model meets project and client expectations.

• Bonus Credentials: Experience in MEP drafting on major construction projects (electrical preferred), along with Revit/CAD qualifications or an Electrical Engineering background—a serious advantage.
