Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.

We are looking for a detail-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team in Cebu, Philippines. In this role, you will be the financial backbone supporting Australian aged care and homecare facilities—managing complex resident billing, reconciling multi-million-dollar accounts, and ensuring every ledger entry is tracked with precision. If you have a passion for financial data, a knack for investigative problem-solving, and experience navigating the nuances of healthcare finance, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a sector that truly matters.

Your Impact

  • Billing Boss & Account Architect: Manage complex resident billing operations across multiple aged care homes and homecare services. Own the full lifecycle of resident sub-ledgers—from initial account creation and database maintenance to generating accurate, timely monthly invoices.

  • Payments Pro: Receipt recurring fees and Refundable Accommodation Deposits (RADs) across all facilities. Process and match incoming high-volume payments spanning checks, BPay allocations, direct credits, and electronic direct debits with absolute precision.

  • Debt Detective: Monitor aging debtor portfolios and systematically follow up on overdue resident fees and outstanding RADs. Investigate the root causes of debtor anomalies, disputes, or payment blockages to minimize bad debt exposure.

  • Reconciliation Rockstar: Perform comprehensive reconciliations of resident accounts by aligning the General Ledger with the Aged Debtor Trial Balance, keeping the books transparent and permanently audit-ready.

  • Third-Party Tamer: Process and cross-verify third-party invoices from community providers (such as DVA and Blue Care). Enter Department of Human Services (DHS) assessment letters into specialized industry platforms like Resident Select, while actively reconciling statutory departmental refunds.

  • Report Ranger & Month-End Master: Generate structured executive reports highlighting outstanding bonds and RAD exposure. Drive month-end closing processes by executing final billing runs, cutting off bank receipts, and mitigating cash flow risks.

  • Compliance Champion: Audit individual fee and RAD arrangements within formal resident agreements to ensure strict alignment with Australian healthcare legislation, while compiling key evidence for statutory annual audits.

  • Inquiry Hero: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex account inquiries, resolving ledger disputes promptly and maintaining clear, audit-ready computerized interaction notes detailing the recovery status of outstanding fees.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Proven accounts receivable, credit control, or transactional billing experience, preferably backed by solid financial skills and an advanced understanding of subsidiary ledger mechanics.

  • Sector Savvy (Preferred): Previous exposure to the Australian healthcare, medical billing, or residential aged care finance ecosystem is a major advantage.

  • Tech-Savvy Stack: Intermediate to advanced proficiency operating specialized sector tools such as CIM, LeeCare, or Resident Select, paired with strong operational capabilities in Xero and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel data sorting).

  • Legislation Literacy: A foundational understanding of governing legislation, subsidies, and calculation frameworks relevant to Australian aged care funding and credit management.

  • Communication Extraordinaire: Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills, allowing you to liaise with the utmost empathy, clarity, and confidence when discussing sensitive financial balances with residents, families, and facility directors.

  • Organized & Detail-Obsessed: An exceptional eye for identifying numerical discrepancies early, paired with a natural talent for prioritizing high-volume workloads under tight regulatory month-end cut-offs.

  • The Credentials: A Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. A Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance is highly desirable and will set your application apart.
