Primary objectives:
The Workplace Experience Manager (WXM) shall be responsible for overseeing administrative operations and building maintenance at the designated sites with focus on mentorship, coaching, and leadership of the team who reports to him/her. It is expected of the WXM to lead multiple sites in close proximity assigned to him/her by the Director of WX. WXM shall ensure effective management and maintenance of administrative functions and physical facilities, leading teams to deliver efficient facilities maintenance while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing budgets, coordinating space planning, overseeing security measures, and promoting environmental sustainability. |
Additionally, WXM shall provide strategic leadership by participating in long-term planning, managing risks, integrating technology solutions, implementing sustainability initiatives, fostering stakeholder relationships, managing vendor contracts, and utilizing data-driven insights to optimize facility performance aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Employee Engagement and Customer Service: Guide teams for enhanced engagement and superior customer service
+ Facility Management: Lead maintenance, safety, and efficiency efforts. Strategizing repairs, renovations, and space planning.
+ Administrative Management: Supervise operations, policy implementation, and budget management. Ensure top-notch front-desk services.
+ Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation.
+ Vendor Management: Monitor and optimize third-party vendor performance.
+ Stakeholder Communication: Build strong relationships through effective communication.
+ Strategic Planning and Leadership: Align strategies with organizational goals and lead, influence and inspire his teams to achieve this.
+ Incident Management: Promptly handle incidents to minimize disruption.
+ Project Management: Oversee projects in admin and facilities for successful outcomes
Qualifications / Skills:
+ Minimum 5 years experience in Facilities Management and/or Hospitality/Customer Experience, Cruise Ships, Resorts, or a related field or equivalent practical experience in a management/leadership capacity
+ Must have strong moral standards and professional ethics. Should be able to coach and make decisions based on the highest standards of integrity.
+ Knowledgeable and has an application experience of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements in facilities management and administrative operations
+ Experienced in overseeing facilities maintenance, including repairs, renovations, and inspections, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
+ Skilled in strategic space planning to optimize facility layout and utilization.
+ Has budgeting and financial management skills/experience, including analysis and implementation of cost-efficiency measures.
+ Possesses strong ethical standards, strong communication skills, and the ability to cultivate effective relationships and mentoring teams who report to him
+ Strategic thinker, has problem-solver mindset and adeptness in risk management to support long-term organizational goals.
+ Has leadership experience, encompassing team management, recruitment, training, mentoring and performance evaluation.
+ Adaptable to evolving organizational priorities, proficient multitasking in a fast paced environment, and readiness for cyclical scheduling demands.
