At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting industry.
As a Loan Support Officer for a leading Australian Mortgage Brokerage, you will be the backbone of the finance team, managing a sophisticated ecosystem of intercompany transactions and property-related accounts. This role is designed for a technical high-achiever who can navigate the complexities of ERP systems—specifically MYOB Acumatica—while maintaining flawless accuracy in AU tax compliance. You will evolve with the business, transitioning from core reconciliations to handling high-level property settlements and statutory reporting by the next financial year.
Your Impact
Advanced Accounting & Reconciliations: Perform comprehensive day-to-day and month-end accounting functions. You will manage bank reconciliations and complex balance sheet reconciliations, including intricate intercompany and inter-trust transactions.
ERP & Cash Flow Mastery: Leverage your expertise in MYOB Acumatica (Advanced) to maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly reports that serve as the foundation for critical cash flow analysis.
Full-Cycle AR/AP Ownership: Take full ownership of Accounts Payable and Receivable. You will manage creditors, investigate discrepancies, and process credit card charges and payments with strict adherence to monthly deadlines.
Taxation & Compliance: Drive the preparation and lodgment of BAS and IAS. You will execute monthly and quarterly GST reconciliations to ensure the brokerage remains fully compliant with the Australian Tax System.
Property & Administrative Support: Manage specialized property-related tasks, including annual tenant rent reviews and outgoings reconciliations. You will act as a consultant for internal and external stakeholders to keep financial operations fluid.
Future Growth (FY 2026+): Prepare to elevate your responsibilities by compiling annual tax returns, drafting statutory accounts, and processing property settlements, including complex sales and purchase adjustments.
What You Bring
The Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role supporting an Australian business. You have a strong foundational understanding of Income Tax and GST.
Technical Mastery: Firsthand experience with MYOB Acumatica (MYOB Advanced) is strongly preferred. You are an expert in Excel and comfortable working within sophisticated ERP environments.
Numeracy & Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and numeracy skills. You can interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear, actionable working papers.
Operational Agility: Strong organization and time management skills. You are a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude who can work independently while contributing effectively to the finance team.
Communication: Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills, necessary for consulting with diverse stakeholders and providing high-level administrative support.
The Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
