Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PHT

Salary Range: Php 75,000 – Php 94,000

We are seeking an accurate, analytical Intermediate Accountant with strong US accounting expertise to oversee full-charge bookkeeping, month-end financial reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations for US-based clients. Operating onsite at our modern Clark hub on a stable daytime schedule, you will leverage both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop to review financial reports against primary source documents, ensuring pristine general ledgers and reliable reporting for international stakeholders.

 

Your Impact

  • US Accounting & General Ledger Oversight: Manage full-charge bookkeeping and transactional accounting operations in strict compliance with US GAAP and client-specific financial workflows.

  • Dual-Platform Financial Management: Execute daily bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and journal postings across both QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop platforms.

  • Month-End Review & Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Conduct thorough reviews of month-end financial statements, verifying P&L entries and balance sheet line items against source documentation to ensure absolute ledger accuracy.

  • Source Document Verification: Review invoices, bank statements, receipts, and contract agreements to resolve discrepancies and audit trails before closing periods.

  • Process Oversight & Supervisory Support: Assist in reviewing junior bookkeeping work, providing quality assurance, and maintaining firm workflow standards.

  • US Tax Support (Optional/Preferred): Assist with US federal and state tax schedules, tax preparation, and reporting processes as client requirements expand.

 

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional bookkeeping/accounting experience (excluding internships), with direct, hands-on experience handling US Accounting processes.

  • Software Competency: High proficiency in both QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) is required. Advanced MS Excel and proficient keyboarding/typing speed.

  • Technical Mastery: Solid expertise in balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close procedures, source document verification, and general ledger troubleshooting.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for seamless collaboration with US firm leaders and clients.

  • Preferred Experience: Prior experience in US Tax return preparation and/or team supervisory and review exposure is a distinct advantage.
