We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Commission Reconciliation & Collections Specialist to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing manufacturer commission statements, reconciling payments, identifying outstanding balances, and coordinating professional follow-up with manufacturers and vendors. This position is well-suited to an individual who possesses strong analytical capabilities, a methodical approach to data management, and the professional communication skills necessary to manage collections with integrity and precision. Working strictly onsite at our modern facilities, you will ensure our global partner networks remain financially aligned and compliant.
Your Impact
Inbox Intelligence & Data Stewardship: Receive, review, and systematically organize commission statements submitted by manufacturers via email. Accurately enter commission data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, maintaining the integrity and consistency of all financial records.
Systems Precision & Discrepancy Detection: Upload commission statements into internal software systems and verify that all imports have been processed correctly. Proactively troubleshoot import discrepancies and reconcile statements against expected payment schedules to identify variances.
Missing Revenue Recovery & Collections: Research and identify unpaid or missing commissions. Contact manufacturers professionally regarding outstanding payment obligations, maintaining a respectful yet persistent approach to collections.
Follow-Up Fortitude & Documentation: Track all payment requests and maintain thorough follow-up records, managing each case through to resolution with diligence. Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready documentation in accordance with internal standards.
Professional Liaison: Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal staff and external manufacturers to facilitate timely resolution of commission-related matters.
What You Bring
The Experience: Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reconciliation, or high-volume administrative support is preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
Excel Expertise & Numerical Confidence: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage, organize, and analyze financial data effectively. You possess a strong comfort level working with numbers and identifying data discrepancies with ease.
Organizational Discipline: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines simultaneously under minimal supervision.
Communication Professionalism: Strong written and verbal English communication skills that reflect professionalism, clarity, and a courteous approach in all internal and external correspondence.
Persistent Problem-Solving: A solutions-oriented mindset paired with the tenacity required to follow through on collections activities until outstanding matters are fully resolved.
