As a Client Service Officer, you will work closely with the client to manage critical administrative and compliance workflows. This role is the engine room of client relations, requiring a blend of regulatory knowledge, proactive coordination, and exceptional attention to detail.
Your Impact
Onboarding & Compliance: Manage the onboarding process for new clients, including the collection, review, and verification of AML/CTF compliance documentation.
Tax Administration: Prepare and personalize client tax checklists, monitor ATO correspondence (including Notice of Assessments and PAYG notices), and promptly notify clients of status updates.
Workflow Coordination: Collate client information for tax returns and Activity Statements while ensuring overall job progress strictly meets all firm deadlines.
Corporate Secretarial Support: Prepare, lodge, and manage ASIC forms, including annual company reviews and critical updates to corporate details.
Client Communication: Draft professional correspondence and official engagement letters, and proactively follow up with clients to retrieve missing financial information.
Operational Support: Support the firm’s internal billing and debtor management workflows while ensuring client data remains 100% accurate across all master systems.
What You Bring
Administrative Excellence: Strong organizational and document management skills with an exceptional eye for detail when handling complex statutory documents.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a natural flair for delivering professional, customer-centric client service.
Technical Literacy: Highly proficient in Microsoft 365, equipped with strong keyboard/typing skills, and capable of identifying and resolving data discrepancies with ease.
Foundational Knowledge: A solid, basic understanding of core accounting principles is required to comfortably support the financial nature of the firm's correspondence.
The Mindset: A proactive, self-motivated professional who maintains the highest levels of confidentiality, speed, and workplace professionalism.
