Unlock Your Potential!

TOA Global is a purpose-built talent solutions company dedicated to helping accounting and bookkeeping firms across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines build high-performing offshore teams. We don't just connect talent with opportunity — we invest in the growth, well-being, and success of every team member who joins our global community.

We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Accountant to join our Cebu team and deliver high-quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of small and medium-sized non-profit organizations in the United States. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your technical expertise, client focus, and proactive mindset will shine. If you thrive on meaningful work, love keeping the numbers airtight, and are energized by variety, this role was built for you.

Your Impact

  • Transaction Maestro: Accurately enter and manage a full range of accounting transactions — vendor bills, customer invoices, bill payments, deposits, journal entries, payroll entries, and more — always keeping the books clean and current.

  • Ledger Guardian: Maintain complete, up-to-date accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts, trial balances, fixed asset systems, and financial statements across multiple non-profit clients.

  • Payroll Pro: Process payroll and/or record third-party payroll entries, including gross wages, employer taxes, payroll expenses, and liabilities with precision and timeliness.

  • Reporting Rockstar: Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management, ensuring leadership always has the financial visibility they need to make informed decisions.

  • Accuracy Advocate: Prepare, reconcile, examine, and analyze accounting records and financial statements to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP and established reporting standards.

  • Client Connector: Maintain consistent, proactive communication with clients, team members, and supervisors — surfacing task status, project updates, and any emerging challenges before they become problems.

  • Deadline Dominator: Work independently with strong time management and organizational skills to juggle multiple clients and meet tight deadlines without missing a beat.

  • Operational Accountability: Accurately log time and transactions by client, ensuring billing transparency and operational accountability across every engagement.

  • Lifelong Learner: Actively embrace new challenges, team training sessions, and professional development opportunities to sharpen your edge and grow alongside the business.

What You Bring

  • The Credentials: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and an active Philippine CPA license is required.

  • Battle-Tested Experience: At least 4–5 years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience spanning a wide range of processes, from AP/AR to financial reporting and tax compliance.

  • QuickBooks Whiz: 3+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online. A QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a serious bonus we'd love to see.

  • Financial Statements Fluency: Proven ability to prepare complete monthly and quarterly financial statements, with a solid grasp of accrual accounting principles and US GAAP.

  • Reconciliation Ready: Strong hands-on experience in bank reconciliation, balance sheet account reconciliation, and AR/AP aging reports and schedules.

  • Tax Know-How: Practical experience with Philippine tax compliance — you know the rules and how to apply them accurately and on time.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to work efficiently across multiple computer systems and platforms.

  • Non-Profit Bonus: Experience working with non-profit organizations is a highly valued plus — familiarity with the unique accounting needs of this sector will help you hit the ground running.

  • Communicator Supreme: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with demonstrated active listening ability when engaging diverse clients, colleagues, and managers.

  • Problem-Solver Mindset: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the confidence to think outside the box, take ownership of tasks, and see every commitment through to completion.

  • Integrity First: A demonstrated commitment to honesty, confidentiality, and customer service — you hold yourself to the highest standard of professional conduct, always.
