Work Arrangement: Onsite, Full-time

Shift: Monday – Friday | 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM PHT

Salary Range: Php 70,000 – Php 110,000

As an Assurance and Financial Reporting Associate, you will play a critical role in the execution of audit engagements and financial statement preparation for our North American clients. This role is perfect for an experienced professional looking to deepen their expertise in US public accounting, work with sophisticated audit methodologies, and collaborate directly with international engagement teams.

 

Your Impact

  • Audit Process Execution: Review prior year workpapers and interim financial statements. Perform audit procedures for moderately complex areas, identify misstatements, clear review notes efficiently, and draft factual management letter comments.

  • Client System & Internal Control Insights: Develop a solid understanding of client accounting practices, transactions, and computer control environments. Assess the effectiveness of internal controls within your assigned testing areas.

  • Workpaper Documentation: Prepare high-quality audit working papers with comprehensive supporting documentation in strict accordance with AICPA audit standards.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Maintain clear, professional, and effective communication with onshore engagement teams and clients, including soliciting and delivering information professionally.

  • Operational Discipline: Manage timelines effectively, maintain highly organized project files, and practice diligent time tracking and reporting.

 

What You Bring

  • The Experience: 2–6 years of relevant US public accounting or industry experience is required.

  • The Credentials: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with the completion of 150 CPA credits (or comparable equivalent). You must be a CPA or a CPA candidate actively intending to complete the CPA exam.

  • Technical Knowledge: A strong basic understanding of US GAAP financial accounting, including the practical ability to prepare financial statements.

  • Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in standard business software:

    • MS Excel: Ability to create pivot tables, exhibits, formulas, and structured formats in support of complex financial analyses.

    • Adobe Acrobat: Proficient with page and bookmark management, as well as commenting/markup tools.

    • Video Tools: Comfortable using Zoom or MS Teams for global collaboration.

  • Preferred Tools: Prior experience using basic functions of CCH ProSystem fx Engagement, Knowledge Coach, and Suralink is highly desirable.
